Max gets excited every time we head out the door to go to K9 Games! They are the best in working with Max and his quirks as he gains socialization.
I love this place (and so does my dog). The facility is clean. The trainers are awesome!! My pup loves coming to play!
So, I adopted a 'rescue' dog, Rosie, about a month ago. She's a 2.5 year-old Boxer/Pit mix. You know how the shelters are; they tell you one thing, but it turns out to be different, because really, there's no way they can know for sure. Like, is Rosie good around cats? "Yes!" Is Rosie aggressive at all? "Oh no, not at all!" Uh huh. Turns out Rosie was more of a Cujo than a lover. Aggressive toward other people and dogs, chasing the cat, and complete chaos no matter where we were. I called a few places for training; one quoted me $3k! for a bootcamp style training, the other two, despite trying to contact them multiple times, never even deigned to call me back. Then, I found K9 Games. If you're worried about price, K9 is competitive and much more affordable than other places I looked at. But, it's not only the money; this is an amazing place. Everyone there cares so much about the dogs brought to them. The staff knows everything, they're so smart and capable! And, even more, they have a philosophy where the dog is trained, yes, but exercised as well and allowed to have some fun. My dog LOVES going there. They also take the time to really show you how to work with your dog, how to keep the training fresh, and they explain everything they do while the dog is with them. Rosie showed progress right away, and just a week in (I've taken her 3 times now) she's already walking on a leash much better, is calmer at home, and is much happier. Best of all, she's showing less aggression toward others/dogs, and she's only going to get better. Seriously, don't look for other places, call K9 Games, NOW! Whether your dog's a Cujo or a cuddlebug, K9 Games will do you right!
Love love love everybody. They r the best. They have done wonders for my German Shepard. No place better than K9 Games
K9 Games is simply the best! Our boy Archie, a 140+ pound Great Dane, absolutely loves his time at K9 Games. The staff is great in all respects. A friend recommended K9 Games to us and deciding to enroll Archie was the best decision we ever made. Highly recommend K9 Games to all dog lovers!
K9 Games Reno is my favorite place to leave my best friend. Spike has always been friendly but sometimes feels a bit shy in social settings and K9 games and their team of trainers were essential in boosting his confidence. I truly appreciate the time and effort Aubrey and the other trainers have put into my sweet boy and I love seeing him be a happier and more confident dog.
Susan and her staff are just amazing! They certainly know their job! Susan/Aubrey, and the rest of the staff took on my dog Guero, who had/has many discipline/behavior problems, Guero, has much too learn , but is on his way. K9 Games, I truly recommend them 100%.
My dog Buddy is ecstatic about playing with other dogs and swimming in the 2 pools. He loves going there and we love how happy he is when we pick him up and how he seems to glow for a couple of days afterward. He initially did his puppy training and further corrective training there. Occasionally, the staff will "give him a tune up" when he seems to forget his training. We highly recommend this business for training and daycamp fun!
Great folks doing great work for the love of dogs.
I've been a client of K9 Games for over a year now. Susan has an amazing intuition with dogs and I'm so thankful for all that she's done for our Alpha female lab Sierra & our chi/Pom rescue Sophie.
If you are looking for a different and challenging experience for your bestie, you have found it! K9 Games Reno strives to find the balance you seek with you and your dog. Check them out! Your dog will be happy you did!
Place is incredible! My 6 month old puppy has made immense strides in just a few short weeks. I took him to the obedience class and just signed up for their daycare/training sessions during the week. Highly recommended!
Great experience for our new puppy! Working on some confidence building and social skills.
K9 Games Reno is a very innovative concept for dog owners. It is exciting to see how much they have evolved!
Love K9 Games! I needed a trainer that would help with dog socialization and reactivity (to help my rescue dog). I have tried 2 other dog trainers, and this is the best! After sooo much research into other dog trainers, I decided to give K9 Games a try. And glad I did. The company and trainers are all great, kind, and knowledgeable. They can help with any goal you have. And they offer a wide range of training and different methods of training that best suites your dog. I tried their boot camp and day camp, and I have seen such amazing improvements in my dog. They would take my dog on pack walks, introduce her to play groups, walk her on their treadmill with other dogs, work on being comfortable around energetic dogs, maintain leash manners, train at off-site locations, and so much more. I am very grateful for them in helping my dog feel comfortable around other dogs.
What a wonderful idea! Can't wait until the doggy pool opens up in the spring so we can take Eames swimming when we visit Reno. Such a great staff, took this adorable video of the pups going for their gym time for n the treadmill.
Words can't express how happy we are with the training our Rottweiler "Judah" has received. Keep up the awesome training and teamwork. You guys ROCK!
We recently adopted a 10 month old Rottweiler with some severe behavioral and aggression issues. A very beautiful, intelligent and loving dog but one that had not been properly handled. We were concerned that we would have to put him down if his behavior could not be corrected quickly. After searching around town and reading some great reviews about various trainers we decided to check out K9 Games. We met Susan (the Owner) and Page, one of the trainers. We were immediately impressed with their knowledge and demeanor; they were not judgmental. We immediately enrolled our Rottie "Judah" in their three week boot camp program and just after a few days we began to see remarkable improvement in his behavior towards people and other dogs, and after just 15 days it is beyond belief what they have done with him. I went to see him today for one of our one on one sessions and I was honestly emotionally overwhelmed when I saw him act like a puppy, chewing on a rubber bone, lying on the ground as though he didn't have a care in the world "I think I had a tear in my eye at one point but being 230 lbs, 5'11" and a very A type personality I didn't want them to see that" This behavior was not possible out of him just three weeks ago. I just can't say enough good things about this place and the wonderful work that they do there and of course we highly recommend them to anyone with a behavioral issue with their dog. You owe it to your pet to give them this opportunity of rehabilitation before deciding on something else. Thank you Susan and Thank you to your staff for the wonderful care you have shown Judah and for putting up with his this last three weeks.
Susan and her staff have been nothing short of incredible to my dog Dyson and I. I enrolled Dyson in boot camp because his prior owner abused him and he's had behavioral/aggression issues that I couldn't fix on my own. Dyson did a two week boot camp and the changes are remarkable. I am excited to continue on with private lessons and classes in order to further my knowledge in helping my dog. Susan and the staff truly love what they do and I've never had a more welcoming and beneficial experience. Thank you all so much!!!!
The trainer's at k9 are amazing! Thank you Paige for taking such great care of Leonidis. We will be back again soon
After only a short training session with Susan at K9 Games, our dog was 100 % better with her issues! Susan taught US a LOT about how to continue to train our little Lizzy. The friendly, experienced staff and facility is outstanding!
I offer free drop off and pick up for them when a dog is boarding, I trust them and truly see positive results when I bring a dog back from them after training!!
A puppy playground. At the east end of the Great Western Marketplace is this large indoor and outdoor space just for dogs. Inside there is an air conditioned playground with steps, tunnels and platforms for doggies of all sizes. The outside area is divided into two spaces- one with a large pool for furry guests. Check out their hours because they don't operate the same at the marketplace. Staff was really nice. I took Sheela up for a swim time. She is eight and I don't think she's ever been in anything bigger that the bath tub. The life guard was great holding her in the water and talking softly to her trying to clam her down. Sheela tried twice but didn't really enjoy the swimming. We also tried the indoor playground- also not her cup of tea. I recommend checking out this great spot to play at, and they also offer day care.
I love this place and so does Karma. She loves all the staff but did take to Susan very quickly! K9 games is awesome Karma had so much fun swimming! I'm thankful my mom found this place. That's her favorite place to go!
The staff and Facilities at K9 games have changed the lives of my rescue dogs from Spain. K9 games played a critical role in the rehabilitation of Rosa, a very fearful feral dog who is now in her forever adopted home thanks to Susan Kojowski and her team of trainers.
